Digital X-Ray Imaging
Accurate diagnosis leads to better treatment. At Palatine Family Chiropractic, our on-site digital X-ray imaging allows us to see the structure and alignment of your spine in detail — so we can treat the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms.

See What’s Really Going On Beneath the Surface
Digital X-ray imaging is a fast, safe, and non-invasive way to capture detailed images of your bones and joints. At our office, we use this technology to assess spinal alignment, detect injuries, and guide your personalized treatment plan with precision.

How It Works
Unlike traditional film X-rays, digital imaging provides high-resolution images instantly and with lower radiation exposure. After capturing your images, we’ll review them with you and explain exactly what we’re seeing — so you understand the “why” behind your pain or dysfunction.
Why It’s Effective
Clear imaging helps us identify misalignments, degenerative changes, disc issues, and other underlying conditions that may not be visible through a physical exam alone. With this insight, we can make more informed decisions about your care, track your progress over time, and ensure you’re getting the most targeted, effective treatment possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to get digital X-rays?
Yes. Digital X-rays use significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays and are considered very safe. We only take images when clinically necessary.
Will I get to see the results?
Absolutely. We’ll go over your X-rays with you, explain what we’re seeing, and answer any questions you have.
Do I need a referral for an X-ray?
No referral is needed. If we determine during your evaluation that imaging is appropriate, we can perform it on-site.
How long does it take?
The imaging process is quick — usually under 10 minutes. You’ll be able to see the results immediately after.
